How do I qualify for support to start my own business?

We’re always looking for enthusiastic and talented people to invest in – and if that’s you, chances are you already qualify. We’re looking for individuals who hold at least three years’ experience working as a recruitment consultant regardless of sector. If you possess good references, a proven performance record and the passion to succeed, it’s time we had a chat.

Do I need to put money into the business to get started?

Not at all! We provide 100% of the finances needed to get you up and running. Unlike many other recruitment funding partners, we don’t make you sign into personal guarantees, our offering is completely risk free. Better still, we will even pay you a salary for the first 6 months to cover your expenditure, enabling you to really hit the ground running.

I’m worried about the paperwork side of things. Can you help?

Yes. We do it all. From the initial set up of your business, help with business planning and forecasting, we can provide full back office and administrative support, including relevant business insurances, accountancy, HR and legal support. We take away the hassle of nitty gritty paperwork, leaving you to focus on seizing your business opportunities.

How quickly can I get up and running?

In as little as just a few weeks. From our initial conversation, and once we’ve decided to invest in your business, we can get you up and running as quickly as you need. We have existing business partnerships in place with industry leaders and as such, we can give you access to a full suite of recruitment software, systems, marketing, IT and communications support as well as fully compliant legal & tax experts. We can even obtain your business relevant industry accreditations and memberships should you require them.

Is there a limit on how much I can earn through my own business?

Never. As joint owner of a business, there are no limits on how much you can earn – and, unlike being employed, you will reap the rewards of your hard work. As your business grows so does your uncapped earning potential and the value of your shareholding.

What ongoing support will I receive?

Whatever you need, and whatever stage your business is at, we’re always on hand to help. We’re only ever a phone call away and are more than happy to regularly get together to discuss any additional support you may need and the best ways to grow your business.

What back office support is available?

From day one, we’ll make sure your business has all the help and resources it needs – this includes IT, HR, legal, payroll, accounts, credit control and marketing support. We’ve built our business model in a way which offers tailored support, specific to you and the needs of your business.

How do I manage the accounts and cashflow?

If you’re worried about managing your own accounts, we can do this for you too. Bank accounts will be linked into cloud-based accounts software, so we can produce quick and streamlined management information. Plus, this is all supported by Invoice Finance – which is designed to grow as your business grows.

What happens to the profits of the business and do I have equity in it?

As you are now joint owner of the business, you’ll have shareholding in that business and as such, are entitled to a dividend from any profits the company has made.  As your business grows, so does your earning potential.

Will I be able to eventually sell the business if I wish?

Yes. At the end of the day, you’re a shareholder of the business and the biggest goal in business is for you is to increase the value of your shareholding. Ultimately, we want to support you in growing your business and reap the rewards of your efforts. If at some point you wish to sell the business, then you’re absolutely within own right to do so and we’ll be on hand with support and advice on the options available to you.

How do we get you started?

Can I choose my company name and branding?

Absolutely. Your new business enterprise is designed to reflect you and your vision; therefore, you will be able to choose the name of your company and associated branding. If you require assistance or someone to bounce ideas off, our friendly team are on hand to help.

Do I get help with things like creating a website, marketing, IT and communications support?

Yes. We can help get all the infrastructure you need for your business, including a website, phone and computer systems, relevant marketing, access to industry leading recruitment software, job boards, back office support and anything else your business requires.

Can I get my own office space?

As part of our financial package, we’ll assist you in acquiring an office space. We’ll then help to get your phone, broadband and computer systems up and running. The WeDo team are with you every step of the way to help you really hit the ground running.

Can I recruit staff to the business?

Of course – it’s your business. We understand you might want to bring in your own staff from the offset to get your business up and running. Each business we support has their own requirements and business plan, so our tailored financial package will cover the cost of hiring staff. As your business grows, you’re in control of taking on more staff in-line with the demands of your business.

Who can help if I am unsure of things?

We’ll put together a board of directors who will sit regularly with you to review the performance, challenges and opportunities that the business faces. We’ll provide a mentoring service to help you personally develop and can introduce you to other clients within the recruitment sector that we’ve worked with. Your success is the ultimate goal of our investment, so we invest both financially and emotionally to help you.
